Mrs Golden Heart title at Miss and Mrs Global Universal for Taposi Sinha

GUWAHATI: Mrs Taposi Sinha has brought laurels to Assam by winning the Mrs Golden Heart title at the Miss and Mrs Global Universal, 2019-20. The beauty contest was held from November 28-December 1, 2019 in Colombo with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Srilanka.

Hailing from Silchar in Cachar district, Taposi Sinha is the daughter of Hemanta Kumar Sinha and Padma Sinha. She is the wife of poet and Bishnupriya Manipuri film director Sashikanta Sinha.

Taposi has to her credit the title – the Queen of Northeast, 2018. She was adjudged the runners-up in the Mrs India Calendar Hunt, 2018 along with a sub-title – beauty with a purpose. She was the actress in a Bishnupriya Manipuri film – 420.
