New 51-member SGSU committee a unit of AASU formed

GUWAHATI: The annual convention of South Guwahati Students' Union (SGSU), a unit of the AASU was held on Monday. As a part of the convention, SGSU president Rupam Kumar Das hoisted flag of the AASU and general secretary Rakibul Ahmed paid tribute to the martyrs. Later, Rupam Kumar Das chaired a meeting of the delegates where a 51-member SGSU committee for the next year was formed. Krishnakanta Das and Ranjit Deka have been respectively elected as the president and general secretary of the new committee.
