GUWHATI, Oct 15: BJP’s national president Amit Shah is set to halt the night in Guwahati on Tuesday on his way to Mizoram.
Talking to The Sentinel, State BJP’s general secretary Dilip Saikia said: “Shah will arrive in Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi (LGBI) Airport at 9.30 pm tomorrow. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass and some other top leaders of the party are going to receive the party chief at the airport. Halting for the night at the Circuit House in Guwahati, Shah will visit the Kamakhya Temple the next morning, October 17, before leaving for Aizawl at 10 am. He will take part at an election meeting in Mizoram where Assembly election is slated to be held on November 28, 2018. He will wind up his Mizoram visit and leave for Delhi on Wednesday.”
