One electrocuted, another injured near Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Aug 1: A person identified as Aminul Islam (34), a mason by profession, was electrocuted at an under construction godown near Sarusajai Stadium under Basistha police station. Notably, another mason identified as Jasim Uddin sustained serious injury and was later admitted at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

According to the police, a piece of bamboo from the structure they were standing on fell on the power line leading to the electrocution and killing Aminul on the spot. Both the masons hail from Dhubri district.
