One Held For Child Abuse At Hatigarh Chariali

GUWAHATI: An attempt was made to sexually assault a seven year old child at Hatigarh Chariali on Friday. A case (83/19 U/S 354 IPC R/W Section 4 of POSCO Act) was registered at Geetanagar police station. The alleged offender, one Pallab Sharma, 24, of Anupam Path, Geetanagar was apprehended by Geetanagar police, produced before the court and taken into judicial custody.
