Orchid Park eviction stayed

GUWAHATI, July 11: The Gauhati High Court on Wednesday stayed the eviction order issued by the Circle Office of Bokakhat Revenue Circle. The next hearing of the order has been scheduled on August 20, next. Notably, on July 5, the Circle Officer issued a letter to the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park, Kaziranga to evict the so called illegally occupied area of 6 bigha, 1 kotha and 12 lecha of land within a period of 7 days.
