Population boom: JSF to hold awareness programme today

GUWAHATI:  As we all know that population explosion has taken a dangerous turn in today's time. In order to spread awareness among the masses and to demand to pass a strict law to control population, JSF Northeast Chapter has been doing such awareness programmes from time to time. 

In accordance with the issue, the North Eastern unit will be organizing a programme with all the workers on Saturday on the occasion of Kati Bihu to encourage the group workers to move forward with determination and perseverance. The program will be organized from 3 pm onwards in the premises of Assam State Zoo along with the entire State.

JSF President, Assam Chapter, Shiva Prasad Sharma addressing the media at the Guwahati Press Club mentioned that, "Population explosion is badly affecting the economy of the country." 

He further said that it will be more frightful in future if we don't take necessary steps to control the population. He also notified that a population awareness song by singer Nayan 'Assam Kaliyabariya' will also be released in the meeting.

Organizing Secretary of the organization Epsita Barua addressing the media said that along with oath taking ceremony there will also be a 'Tulsi worshiping ceremony.'

To enforce the strict population control law to establish a stabilize environment in the nation, JSF Northeast Chapter wished the presence of the public at the premises of Assam State Zoo in Guwahati, stated a release.
