RSS distributes fodder & essential commodities among needy persons amid lockdown

GUWAHATI: In a bid to support the needy and the common people, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Rashtra Sevika Samiti have been organizing several distribution camps of cattle fodder and essential commodities among the needy persons of the society since the past one week. The Swayamsevak and the Sevikas are covering areas from 8th Mile to Jalukbari and some of the outskirts. They have distributed fodder to approximately 20,000 Cowherds (Go-Palak). Distribution of essential commodities are also being done to approximately 9,000 families.

Helpline number of Sevika Samiti has been established where emergency needs specifically for pregnant ladies and other related issues are being sorted out in support and coordination of the volunteers.
