Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad flays police action on protesters

GUWAHATI: The SAKP (Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad) came down heavily on the security personnel cracking down on people protesting the CAB (Citizenship Amendment Bill) in the State on Wednesday. In a statement issued to the press on Wednesday, SAKP president Basab Kalita criticized the State Government and told it to desist from suppressing the spontaneous voice against the CAB in the State. He congratulated the officials of the State Secretariat who took part in the agitation on their own.
