Assam BJP launches 'Seva Hi Sangathan' programme across Assam

On the occasion of seven years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-led government on Sunday, Assam State Ministers launched a 'Seva Hi Sangathan' Program across the state.

GUWAHATI: On the occasion of seven years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-led government on Sunday, Assam State Ministers launched a 'Seva Hi Sangathan' Program across the state. Meanwhile celebrating the occasion with the Assam government led by the Bharatiya Janta Party's (BJP) second successful term, initiated various 'Seva Hi Sangathan' programme in 10,000 villages and tea gardens areas of the state.

Leading the initiative, State BJP President and minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass went to Tapoban Ashram, one of the children's shelter homes in Lower Assam, to celebrate this special day and distributing food and interacted with the specially-abled children.

On the other hand, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Maa Kamakhya Old Age Home at Panjabari in Guwahati. Further former chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal distributed masks among the needy and took part in a sanitization drive with colleagues at Hatimora, Lahowal and at Rajabheta Gaon in Dibrugarh.

Dilip Saikia, MP and National General Secretary of BJP distributed fruits and masks along with the local MLA among the patients at Sipajhar Civil Hospital in Mangaldai. It is to be mentioned here that all the BJP leaders and workers where present in their respective constituencies and took initiative in the 'Seva Hi Sangathan' Programme.
