Stickers on women welfare distributed by Kamrup district administration

GUWAHATI: An awareness-cum distribution programme of stickers regarding women helpline 181, One Stop Centre and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme among the members of transport associations of Kamrup Metro was organized by District Social Welfare office in collaboration with District Transport Office on Tuesday.

The district administration and District Social Welfare office have developed the stickers for pasting in buses, cabs, magics, autos of Kamrup (M) with an objective to create awareness among the public under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme. Minister of Social Welfare Pramila Rani Brahma has already inaugurated the stickers on the occasion of National Girl Child Day held on January 24, 2020 in Srimanta Sankardev International Auditorium, Kalashetra.
