Sub-inspector re-examination results for 597 posts out

GUWAHATI: The results of the re-examination for 597 posts of SI (sub-inspector) in the State police force were declared on Saturday.

Earlier, the SI recruitment examination had to be cancelled due to leakage of question papers, and exam was rescheduled for November 22, 2020.

Over 62,000 candidates took the examinations.

It may be mentioned that investigation in the scam led to the arrest of a number of people, including those running a coaching centre in Guwahati. The scam revealed the modus operandi as to how recruitment examination papers are being leaked by a racket to help a section of candidates get jobs.
