Thunderstorm Likely to Occur Today

GUWAHATI: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has cautioned that thunderstone accompanied with lighting and the gusty wind is likely to occur in the districts of Kokrajhar, Dhubri, South Salmara, Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Barpeta, Nalbari, Kamrup, Udalguri and Baksa on Friday. The RMC said that light to moderate rain is very likely to affect the districts of Kokrajhar, Dhubri, South SAlmara, Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Barpeta, Nalbari, Kamrup, Baksa and Udalguri on the day.

There is already a partial hit of the cyclone 'Titli' in North-east and will continue till October 13 in different parts of Assam. There is likely of heavy rainfall till October 13. However, mix weather will continue appearing on October 14 and 15 across the north east. It must be mentioned here that cyclone titly had a big hit in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh recently.
