Two Coal Mafias apprehended by Police at Khetri in Guwahati

Guwahati: Based on secret information on Friday at the mid-night hours at Khetri Tinali, Police apprehended two coal mafias along with a truck bearing number AS 01DD 1253 loaded with coals.

Both the alleged coal mafias were apprehended at around 3.30 am.

On the basis of interrogation, Khetri police managed to apprehend another person identified as Dipak Agarwal who had issued fake GST Challans to the coal mafias. He was apprehended from Tara Housing Complex at Beltola Tinali at around 1.30 pm the next day.

A case has been registered to vide Khetri Police Station for case no 248/18 under section 420/406/379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

All the three accused were kept in police custody and was produced before the court today morning.
