Two-day meeting of branch managers on multi-level consultation by Central Bank of India

GUWAHATI: As per the directive of Department of Financial Service( DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, the Central Bank of India, regional office Guwahati organized a two days meeting of branch managers on Saturday. A total of 57 branch managers of Guwahati region of Central Bank of India attended the meeting to discuss on “Multi-Level Consultation and Ideation Process”.

Senior regional Manager Satish Agarwal in his inaugural address informed the participant about the two days consultative process under the theme- “Campaign for generation of ideas and consultation till branch level bankers”. Informing about the objective of Campaign Agarwal said, “The aim is to get feedback from branch managers working at grassroots level on various topics. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech said that in order fulfill the target of turning India’s economy into $ 5 trillion economy the banks of India will play a vital role. By keeping that in mind we’re trying to collect information regarding the potentialities of local areas. After the discussion and deliberation of those ideas central government will receive a report file. On the basis of that report government will take action plans for improvement of the performance of the banks. On the basis of those the banks will work for improvement.”
