Two drug peddlers arrested in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A team of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) from Garchuk Police Station apprehended Anup Deb Nath of Lalganesh at ISBT on Sunday evening. As a follow-up, a raid was conducted in Power House area, Kahilipara where Jintu Mandal and Utpal Das were apprehended with eight vials, a bag containing 12.65 gm of heroin, a Scooty (AS01 DS 9301) and four mobile phones. Further legal action has been initiated, said police sources.
