Video Circulation of Molested Teenager In Lachit Nagar

GUWAHATI: A teenager was taken to the rented house of one Raghunath Choudhury, 65, in Lachit Nagar on December 28, 2018. She was forced to remove her clothes and was later molested. The entire incident was recorded through a hole on the wall and witnessed by neighbours Sanjay Purbey, 25, Khagen Das, 28 and Bimal Sharma, 26.

The incident was not initially reported by the victim but upon information that a video captured by the witnesses was being circulated, she filed a case (67 / 19) at Paltan Bazaar Police Station on January 19.

Police have managed to capture the neighbours Purbey, Das and Sharma while the molester Choudhury is still untraceable.
