GUWAHATI: Narangi Military station is facing acute shortage of water even for drinking purpose as the water supply pipeline has been snapped and regular water supply is disrupted since morning of October 13. It is learned that the main water supply pipeline has been damaged due to the work done by the PWD near the locality of IOCL, Noonmati, stated a release. The damaged pipeline is affecting more than 700 families and personnel residing in the Narangi Military Station. It is learnt from reliable sources that proper water supply will be restored after not less than three days and till the time, the brunt is being borne by Narangi Military Station as they have to cater for water under their own resources which is a major problem and concern, the release added.
