Workshop on art and music held in Guwahati Blind School, Basistha

GUWAHATI: A workshop 'Pragyanusandhan' was organized by Sanskar Bharati, Uttar Assam Prant in association with Sanskar Bharati, Kamrup Metro Samati and initiated by State Women Secretary, Sanskar Bharati, Uttar Assam Prant, Monisha Mozinder Baruah in Guwahati Blind School, Basistha.

The workshop was organized to provide a platform to the children studying in the school to express and explore the world of art and culture. In the two days' workshop, the students learnt various songs of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala, Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha and Dr Bhupen Hazarika, under the guidance of Bhanupriya Deka, a well-known singer of Assam.
