Youth Files Case at Panbazar Police Station

GUWAHATI: A youth, Nabajyoti Das, lodged an FIR in Panbazar police station here against the uncle and mother of his girlfriend for, what he said, threatening and blackmailing him. A case (799/19 u/s 342/323/506 of IPC) has been registered in this connection. According to the FIR, Das, who is an employee of a city hotel, was taken in a car by the mother and uncle of his girlfriend for long four hours and tortured him.
