GUWAHATI, August 4: Three persons - Ranjit Singh of Gopal Ganj in Bihar, Rukia Begun of Rowta and Jiarul Islam - were arrested by the Bharalumukh police last night on the charge of keeping two minor girls, one hailing from Kaliabhomora in Sonitpur and the other from Rowta, in a rented house in Santipur hill side with the promise of offering them jobs outside Assam. A case (295/15) has been registered against them. The local people say that the particular rented house has been used as a transit camp for such girls who vanish after a few days.
