A day against terrorism

GUWAHATI, Oct 29: To commemorate the tragic serial blast of Oct 30, 2008, the All Assam Students’ Union will observe the day as ‘A Day Against Terrorism’ on Friday. In this regard, the organization will organize prayer meets at various places and will pray for those who lost their lives on the fateful day. In a statement to the media, the organization said that they will also light earthen lamps in the evening throughout the State. It may be mentioned that, the State government is also organising the day to pay tribute to the victims at Ganeshguri tomorrow.
