By our Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, February 3: The AGP is going to fight the civic body elections slated for February 9 on issues like corruption on the part of the Congress government in the state and ‘false assurances’ on the part of the BJP.  Making this public, AGP president Atul Bora said that his party would support independent candidates in some of the constituencies. “The party candidates will highlight the local problems before the voters even as the party has a common poll manifesto,” he said. AGP leader Durga Das Boro said that the party would fight the ensuing BTAD polls in party symbol.
