AJYCP chief Monoj Baruah to join BJP

GUWAHATI , June 4: Yet another student leader is all set to join BJP. Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) president Manoj Kumar Baruah will join the saffron party within this month.  The AJYCP chief is scheduled to quit the organization at an executive meeting in Guwahati on June 7. Baruah along with two outgoing AASU leaders are set to join the saffron party soon after his exit from the student body.  The BJP leadership are believed to have agreed to field him in the next assembly polls.
