Annual inter-school event - Cyberfest - held

GUWAHATI, Dec 12: South Point School, Guwahati organized the 15th edition of its annual inter-school event ‘Cyberfest’ that comprises competitions workshop and semir to popularize Information Technology among school students that the school has been conducting every year since 2000.

The events at the ‘Cyberfest’ spanned two days on the school premises in Barsapara starting on  December 11, 2015 and was iugurated by Dr. Arup Kumar Mishra, Director ASTEC, Guwahati, Dr. Gautam Barua, Director IIIT, Guwahati and others.

There were competitions like photo editing, and it was won by Sanskriti The Gurukul, with South Point School, Guwahati coming second.

The completion for C++ programming was won by Royal Global School, Guwahati with South Point School, Guwahati coming second.

IT Quiz and won by Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, Guwahati with Delhi Public School, Guwahati coming second. IT debate was won by Assam Valley School, Tezpur with Army Public School, rengi coming second. IT Model making was won by South Point School, Guwahati with Assam Valley School, Tezpur coming second.

Computer gaming was won by South Point School, Guwahati with tiol Public School, Guwahati coming second. Webpage Designing was won by H.K.V, Bhangagarh with Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, Guwahati coming second.

The Power Point Presentation was won by Delhi Public School, Guwahati with Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar coming second. Movie making was won by Assam Valley School, Tezpur with Army Public School, rengi coming second.

Extreme Typing and won by Srimanta Sankar Academy, Guwahati with Sanskriti The Gurukul, Guwahati coming second. There were other competitions as well.
