GUWAHATI, Oct 3: The 57th annual conference and intertiol symposium of the Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) is going to be held in Gauhati University from November 24-27, 2016. The theme of the event is – Microbes and Biosphere: What’s, New What’s Next.
According to a press release issued by Prof. Dhruva Kumar Jha, organizing secretary, Department of Botany, Gauhati University, the conference is an attempt to provide a common forum to discuss, deliberate and propose solutions on various aspects related to the theme, with the ultimate aim of devising strategies for using microbial resources for restoring and sustaining the health of the planet earth.
