Assamese translation of Dalai Lama’s autobiography

GUWAHATI, March 21: Indrani Lashkar has translated ‘My Land and My People’, the autobiography of the His Holiness Dalai Lama, into Assamese. The Assamese title of the autobiography is – ‘Mor Desh aru Mor Manuh’.  
The Assamese translation of the autobiography published by Lawyer’s Book Stall will be released by the Dalai Lama himself at a function to be organized by Lawyer’s Book Stall and IIT Guwahati on April 2, 2017. Lawyer’s Book Stall is going to complete 75 years in publication industry, and on that occasion it has its eyes set on printing and reprinting a number of books. Some the books the publisher is going to release soon are ‘Beyond Religion-Ethics for a Whole World’ (2012), The ‘Universe in a Single Atom’ (2005), ‘Ethics for a New Millennium’ (1999), ‘The Art of Happiness’ (1998) and ‘Freedom in Exile’ (1999).
