GUWAHATI, Sept 2: Who does not love to taste paan of varied flavour? For the first time in the city Mast Barasi Paan parlour with varied flavour has been launched in the city with the concept of providing paan in a hygienic way.

Introducing the concept of Pan Parlour, Rupankar Bora, along with his one of the childhood friends, started thinking of doing some business. Searching through internet about a business concept they got to know the franchise of this Pan Parlour based in Baras. Having knowledge of all details they opened the parlour on August 13 this year at Hatigoan area in the city. The varieties of flavour which people can taste over there are- Barasi sada paan, Barasi shadi patti pan, Lucknow zarda paan, Magahi paan, Magahi meetha paan, silver paan, varat paan, pineapple paan, kitkat paan, Barasi ice paan, mast strawberry paan, paan milk shake, paan shot, fire paan, ice fire pan, dry fruit pan, to me a few in the menu. The prices range from Rs 10 to Rs 3,000.

The employees of the paan parlour are well trained. They are from Baras to serve the people of Assam with their magic blending. The parlour maintains hygiene. The interior designs are also very attractive. People who visit it can seat and enjoy paans there itself.

Talking to The Sentinel, Rupankar Bora said, “I had a dream of doing a business, so I took this unique concept. People in Assam love to have paan a lot. Why don’t we try something different in a hygienic way so that people come here and enjoy the varieties of paan?

The materials they use to make paan have to be brought from Baras. Such items aren’t available here like.” Bora further said: “In just a few days we are getting good response from visitors and all of them are giving positive response. Our flavored paan is totally hygienic.”
