Be on poll gear: Shah to party's media magers

GUWAHATI, May 21: BJP’s tiol president Amit Shah has made all spokespersons, panelists and media conveners of all States of the party to step up a gear for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Shah did ask all spokespersons, media conveners and panelists of the party at the state and tiol levels to attend the tiol media workshop of the party at New Delhi today.

According to the representatives of the party from Assam, Shah has appealed to all of the party related to media magement to highlight the activities of the BJP-led Government at the Centre in the past three years before the people through the media. “The government has made strides on all fronts. When Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister, the GDP of the country was 8.5 per cent. It, however, fell to 4.4 per cent when the Congress came to power.  With Prime Minister rendra Modi coming at the helm of affairs now, the GDP has gone up to 7.5 per cent. Four crore lavatories were constructed, 28 crore bank accounts opened and power connection given to 13,000 villages in the past three years by the NDA Government. The satellites launched during the past three years have placed India among capable tions of the world. We’ve to thank the Modi government for not getting involved in corruption of any sorts in the past three years,” the representatives from Assam quoted Shah as telling party spokespersons at the workshop. Rupam Goswami, ba Baishya, Dhrubajyoti Maral, Hemanta Kalita, Aparijita Bhuyan, Promod Chand and Megh Hazarika took part at the workshop from Assam.
