BY OUR STAFF REPORTER
Guwahati, March 9: The All Assam Bengali Youth Students’ Federation today condemned the attack on AASU office at Silapathar by the activists of Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samanway Samitee (NIBBUS) and demanded judicial probe into the incident. Addressing a press conference here today, All Assam Bengali Youth Students’ Federation chief adviser Sukumar Biswas said that the incident has deeply hurt the Bengali people, who have been permanently living in State for a long time. “We have strongly condemned the incident and demanded exemplary punishment against the culprit involved in the attack. We have also demanded the government to conduct a judicial probe into the incident. We have declared the prime accused of the incident, Subodh Biswas as the ‘enemy of Bengali’,” he said.  Biswas made it clear that NIBBUS does not represent the Bengali people who have been permanently living in Assam.  He also called upon the political parties of the State not to play politics with the Silapathar incident.
