Bhattacharyya promises to serve people actively

GUWAHATI, April 2: “I’m seeking votes from the voters of Guwahati East LAC not to yawn and stretch, but to work relentlessly for the people of the constituency,” said BJP’s tiol spokesperson Siddhartha Bhattacharyya.

Talking to newsmen in the city today, Bhattacharyya said: “I seek a chance to serve the people of this constituency. If I’m given a chance, the voters won’t have anything to loss as I won’t pass time by yawning and stretching. I’m determined to work for the people.”

Bhattarchayya is traveling to each and every ward of Guwahati LAC and opening party’s election offices.

Guwahati East is set to face a showdown this time around between BJP candidate Bhattacharyya and Congress candidate Bobita Sarma. The Congress denied party ticket to MLA Robin Bordoloi.
