Body found in mysterious state

GUWAHATI, Jan 1: The body of a person, rayan Debth (44), was found in a complex at Milanpur in the Rahabari area in Guwahati on Monday. A building is under construction in the complex. The body bore an injury on the forehead. The ground being a soggy one, footprints of a person are clearly visible. There is a toilet near the place where the body was lying prostrated.  

Staying at Birubari and hailing origilly from Hojai, Debth went out on Sunday evening for cooking at a party. He was a professiol cook.

The police suspect is to be a case of accidental death. They say that the person might have been inebriated, and while going to the latrine he might have hit the wall and fell. Construction workers of the building did not have any party at the site on Sunday, nor do they know the man. However, the police held eight of the labourers for grilling.
