GUWAHATI, May 4: An Assamese book based on research on exported manpower as slave from Assam during the attack of Maan in the first part of 19th century was released today at Guwahati Press Club. The book – Maanor Dexot: Oitihaxik Vabe Bitarito Axomiar Sandhanot – written by Tapan Kumar Sarma was published by Chandra Prakashan. The book was released by Ramesh Chandra Das.
