Deori bodies hail HC order

GUWAHATI, April 27: The Deori Autonomous Council (DAC) and many other organizations have welcomed the Gauhati High Court's order directing the Government of Assam to hold the DAC election by July 11, 2016 when the term of the existing DAC will expire. In a press release issued today, DAC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Bhairab Deori welcomed the order of the High Court. Other organizations that welcomed the order are the Deori Sixth Schedule Demand Committee, All Assam Deori Students' Union and the Deori tiol Council.
