Guwahati, Dec 22: The India Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) in association with tiol Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad organized a Design Awareness Semir as well as MSME’s Design Clinic for the Golaghat Handloom weavers recently at Ponka Weaving Centre, Numaligarh. The semir was organized with a view to provide an opportunity to aware the weavers about new product development techniques, weaving techniques and various diversified lifestyle products made out of handloom and jacquard machines. The semir was attended by PK Sharma, SM, CSR, Numaligarh Refinery, IIE officials, State Project Officer of NID and two designers.
