Digital transaction starts from senior sub-registrar's office

GUWAHATI, Dec 21: Kamrup(M) Deputy Commissioner M Angamuthu said that digital transaction in the district has been started from the senior sub- registrar's office. Angamuthu said this while iugurating a point of sale (POS) machine at the senior sub-registrar's office at the DC office building here on Tuesday. "The senior sub-registrar's office is an important place. Around 500-600 people visit this office for various works like clearing land revenues, marriage registration and others," Angamuthu said, and added: "With the start of digital transaction the government, office staff and people will be benefited and money transacted from this place will directly reach the government account."
