Schools are critical infrastructure entrusted with the responsibility of creating citizens of tomorrow. A safe and secure environment is the prerequisite for effective teaching and learning.

Disasters often strike without warning and leave series of devastation. The loss of life and damage to property due to disaster can be reduced by sensitizing local population, preparedness and what preventive actions to be taken in case of disaster, as community is the first responder to respond to disasters.

The drill was participated by 2,941 personnel, including 2,700 Students, 112 teaching staff, 50 non-teaching staff, SDRF-45, DDMA-02, and SDMA-07.

Fire and Emergency Service Director Ajeet Prasad Rout, ASDMA CEO Rajeev Prakash Barua, and SSA Principal Dr Geeta Dutta Barua attended the programme.

The students and teachers of SSA showed immense enthusiasm while conducting the drill.  Different activities were done and showed to the students and teachers.
