Edu-Jourlism Day observed

GUWAHATI, Sept 15: Edu-Jourlism Day was celebrated at Guwahati Press Club today. The programme was organized by Paresh Baishya Foundation.
At the programme, the Foundation honoured Sankardev Sihshu/Vidya Niketan of Biswath Chariali that has scripted 100 per cent success rate in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examitions for the ten successive years the best school award. Prizes were also given away to the winners of essay and drawing competitions organized by the Foundation. A modern Assamese dictiory was released at the function that was presided over by herbal specialist Dr. Guram Khanikar, and attended, among others, by GU Geography Prof. Dr. Abhani Kumar Bhagawati and educationist Dr. Dayanda Pathak.
