Employees stir demanding pay parity with Central staff

 GUWAHATI, Dec 9: Asom Rajyik Karmachari Federation (ARKF) has raised the demand for correcting the errors in the Seventh Pay Commission Report and maintence of pay parity with new pay of Central Government employees that has been effective since January 1, 2016. The members of the Federation stage a dhar at Dighalipukhuripar in the city in support of their demands.

ARKF general secretary ba Kumar Patgiri said: "The Federation has all along been agitating in support of their demands for pay parity with central government employees, formation of pay commissions after every five years, checking price rise, salaries for all employees etc."

They Federation sent a memorandum each to the Chief Minister and the Fince Minister through the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup(M) today.
