Fake CISF officer arrested in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Sept 8: A 45-year-old man-impersoting as a top CISF official, was arrested from by police from a hotel at Paltan Bazar area of the city last night. Police sources said that Sidhanta Singh, who identified himself as an IG, CISF, NE Zone, was arrested by UP police with the help of city police. Shidhanta, who hails from Jharkhand, collected money from Rs five to Rs 10 thousand each from unemployed youths from UP, Delhi, Bihar and Jharkhand promising to offer job in the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF).  A case has been registered (no-260/16) under section 420 and 511 of the IPC.
