Generosity gets a boost

GUWAHATI, April 25: Beltola Bohagi Utsav Samiti (BBUS) general secretary Sanjoy Goswami has announced that he is going to shoulder the educatiol burden of two HSLC passed poor candidates, one each of either sex, up to their graduation.
Goswami, a businessman, also announced that he would pay the expense to be incurred in the pilgrimage of ten old women, who are inmates of an old-age home.
Meanwhile, DC Northeast, a car showroom, doted a Mukti Rath (van carrying corpses) to Brahmaputra Health Care Society (BHCS) at the Bihu function. Goswami handed over the keys to BHCS on the behalf of Biva- Himansh Nyas. Singer Zubeen Garg dedicated the Mukti Rath to people in the presence of BBUS president Ratul Baruah, cultural secretary Dr. Dilip Mahanta and others.
