Gogoi raps Dispur for ‘manhandling’ disabled

GUWAHATI, Dec 21: Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has condemned, what he said, the inhumane manhandling of disabled people, who resorted to a democratic agitation at Dispur yesterday, by the police. In a statement issued to the press today, Gogoi said this incident has exposed the inhumane and dictatorship of the government at Dispur. He said the government should meet the demands of the differently-abled people.
