Governor appreciates KMSS for their efforts at promoting skill development

GUWAHATI, Oct 27:  Assam Governor PB Acharya has expressed his happiness at the development of an orchid park at Durgapur village of Kohora in Kaziranga by the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) and that it has now come up with two agricultural projects - a lemon orchard at Sarupathar in Golaghat and the cultivation and preservation of rare rice seeds in Jorhat.

In an appreciation letter to KMSS adviser Akhil Gogoi, the Governor has said that skill development is the need of the hour and that he is sure that such initiatives will encourage the young generations to come forward and utilize their skills and expertise in those fields. The Governor added that this would be the right step for agriculture sector prosperity.
