GUWAHATI, Sept 8: The Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad, Asom (HYCPA) has expressed strong reaction over Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju’s comment that there is a need to sign a formal treaty with the neighboring country to stop migration from that country. HYCPA president Balen Baishya and general secretary Dipankar Borgohain in a statement said that through such remarks minister Rijiju has proved that he is not serious with the issue migration. They also said that to cover up the failure of the Central government to stop infiltration to the State, Rijiju has made such comments. “Actually there is no need of bilateral treaty to solve the issue of immigration; there is need of goodwill from the Centre,” they said.
