The aggrieved teacher, who is a faculty at New Guwahati Adarsha Shishu Bidyalaya, lodged an FIR at Paltan Bazar police station.
As per complaint, the victim booked a Uber ride from Bamunimaidam to Lachit gar around 2 pm. As the ride reached near her home the driver refused to enter the by-lane of her residence, stating that he had another booking and that she should get off there.
When she asked him to drop her at the booked location he argued and tried to move to an unknown location with her still in the car.
“When I insisted on getting down at my residence (drop location) he made a sudden dash to another road with me still inside the car. I then raised a hue and cry and a while later the car slowed down in traffic. I somehow maged to make him stop the car and he literally threw me out of the car, hurting me in the process,” the lady teacher said.
