Literary symposium held

GUWAHATI, July 5: A symposium on Bishnupriya Manipuri prose literature organized  by Bishnupriya Manipuri Writers’ Forum, a leading literary forum of the Bishnupriya Manipuri Community, was held today at Guwahati Press Club here. A number of noted writers and intellectuals from across the State attended the event. Bhimsen Sinha, Editor Kalor Bou, Dr lini Sinha, Prabhaskanti Sinha, Bijay Sinha , Dr Smritikumar Sinha and Hareswar Sinha delivered speech in the programme. As a part of the programme, a multilingual poet meet was also held. The books—‘Songs of Hunger and Thirst and Other Verses’ by Dils Lakshmindra Sinbha and ‘Stories From Upanishads’ by Haridas Sinha were also released in the event.
