Manipuri novel released in city

GUWAHATI, May 29: Patriotic Writers’ Forum, Assam branch today released a Manipuri novel – Lotluba Chithi – written by Khetri Bira at a function at Guwahati Press Club here today. The novel Lotluba Chithi, which means a hidden letter, was released by Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Assam president Dr. Karam Ibunghan. Releasing the book, Dr. Ibunghan laid stress on translation of Manipuri books into Assamese.  Former Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Assam Col Gokul Tensubam was guest of honour at the function.
