Over 3,000 take part in I-Day run

GUWAHATI, August 14: An independence day run organized by the Kamrup(M) district administration was today flagged of by Guwahati Deputy Mayor Bujili Kalita in the presence Mayor Mrigen Sarania, East Guwahati MLA Siddhartha Bhattacharya, DGP Mukesh Agarwala, ADGP Jyotirmoy Chakravarty and Kamrup(M) DC M Angamuthu. The run, organized in consonce with the 70th Independence Day, was from Nehru Stadium to Judges’ Field.

Over 3,000 people, including students, security personnel and others took part in the run.
