Police-public interactive session at Azara

AZARA, Dec 6: The Azara Police organized a police-public interactive session in the police station complex with Azara Revenue Circle Officer Maharshi Kashyap in the chair yesterday. The session was participated by the office-bearers of the Azara Kendriya ganik Samiti, gaoburhas and representatives from various other places. Paschim Guwahati SDO Rahul Amin said that the session was organized for the benefits of police and the public as well. Kashyap said: “The public have a wrong notion that official works get delayed in revenue circle offices and police stations. In order to dispel such notions, I do appeal to the people to let the official concerned know what the work exactly is.” Officer-in-charge of Azara police station Ashok Kumar Dutta said: “The public and the police are two sides of the same coin which cannot stay individually. Likewise, in society peace is maintained only when the public extend their cooperation with the police.” Azara Taluk secretaryTarun Chandra Medhi, Garal GP president Subodh Medhi, social activist Umed Ali and others were also present at the programme.
