Saikia for special session

GUWAHATI, Nov 17: Leader of Opposition of the Assam Legislative Assembly Debabrata Saikia has sought support from other members of the State Assembly on the issue of framework agreement on the vexed issue of Greater galim. Saikia sent a letter each to the legislature party leaders and presidents the BJP, AGP, AIUDF and BPF on Friday seeking their support for a discussion on the framework agreement on the floor of the State Assembly in a special session. He said that the members of the House had every right to know what the framework agreement exactly was. He said that he had already sent a letter to the Speaker also in this regard.
